Why does my address have to change?
IT-GIS establishes a unique address for each structure based on the addressing scheme. This is done to improve the emergency response time and save lives. Existing addresses that do not comply with the Augusta, GA's addressing scheme will need to be changed as quickly as possible to prevent any confusion with emergency responders.
