You may demand a trial. If you do, your case will be forwarded to the Solicitor General's Office to be handled as a misdemeanor prosecution. You must appear on the court date set out in the citation you were given to enter a not guilty jury or bench trial demand. You will receive a notice thereafter from the Solicitor General's Office notifying you of a formal arraignment date and time. You will then be sent a notice of your trial date.
