Am I required to submit the E-Verify form every year?
In terms of E-Verify Private Employer Affidavit, which is required by businesses seeking an occupation tax certificate, business license or any other document required to operate a business, it is now only required that the business provides the E-Verify Affidavit/Exemption Affidavit once. For all subsequent renewals, they just have to provide their E-Verify number or statement of exemption. The only time a new affidavit will have to be provided is 1) if the business changes their E-Verify number of 2) an exempt business hires more than 10 employees.
