Augusta Maps appears to be down or gives an error message that the website is unavailable?
Scheduled updates are made to the website during times of less internet traffic, between 6:00am – 9:00am for daily updates, periodically from 12:00pm – 1:00pm and 5:00pm – 6:00pm for critical updates. Routine server maintenance is performed on a monthly (typically Saturday) or as needed basis, a schedule is posted on the Online Maps Page, along with any unscheduled maintenance alerts.

Please check the home page of the City website for an alert, these are posted several days in advance of an upgrade and can potentially last several days. If there is not a notice there could be a technical problem, which IT is working to resolve, we strive to ensure the public has access to all data at all hours, contact GIS by email, or call us at (706) 821-2843.

If some of the features are not working properly it can be due to a full or oversized amount of temporary internet file, history, and cookies. By going to your ‘Tools’ and ‘Internet options’ and delete ‘Temporary files, history, and cookies’ this will free up space and all the features should work.
