How does the AGLBA dispose of property?
The AGLBA must identify a responsible developer for the property. First preference is given to non-profit developers of affordable housing. Preference is as follows:
a. Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDO’s)
b. Government Entities
c. Non-Profit Institutions (such as academic institution)
d. Entities that are a partnership, limited liability corporation, or joint venture composed of a non-profit corporation and a private for-profit entity
e. Adjacent property owners
f. Local developers with a proven track record and the capacity to complete projects.
