Augusta Sculpture Trail Ribbon Cutting

Augusta, Georgia and The Greater Augusta Arts Council are pleased to announce that a ribbon cutting celebration will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 11:00am at the 8th Street Riverwalk Bulkhead. Guest speakers include Brandon Garrett, Mayor Pro Tem; Maurice McDowell, Director of Augusta Parks and Recreation; Dennis Skelley, Georgia Rehabilitation Institute; Stacy Pulliam, Commissioner 2nd District; Bennish Brown, Destination Augusta; Margaret Woodard, Downtown Development Authority; and Arts Council Board Member Leon Maben will Emcee.The four local authors, Karin Gillespie, Olivia Gaines, Brian Panowich, and Evelyn Berry, whose books are a part of the Book Bench Sculpture will be in attendance.
