2023 Water PSA Video Contest 

Augusta, GA - Richmond County 6^th – 12^th grade students and their teachers can win prizes in the Augusta Utilities Video PSA Contest.  

2023 Video Contest Themes (choose from one of the three): 

• “Protecting Our Water, Our Savannah River"
• "I'm (We're) Part of the Solution to end Water Pollution"
• "Keep Calm, Conservation Matters!"

The 2023 Water PSA Video Contest challenges students to explore the need for Augusta, Georgia residents to conserve water, protect our source, and get involved today to make our city and world a better place for our families and future generations to keep and preserve one of Earth’s most precious resources.  

Judging will be based on entertainment value and originality, videography, style and organization, audio/sound, and movie content and accuracy, including whether the video incorporates the theme.

The deadline to receive entries is Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 5 p.m. 

Video Contest Timeline

• April 6, 2023 through May 3, 2023 at 5 p.m.—Students may submit videos (remember to include a completed Entry Form and Photo Release Form(s)
• Wednesday, May 3, 2023, 5 p.m.—Deadline to receive entries
• May 3-May 9, 2023—Judging by water efficiency experts and community leaders
• May 10, 2023—Winners will be announced on augustah2o.org
• May 12, 2023 (WATERpalooza)—Winners will be presented.
