Master Plan

Master Plan

In March 2009, both the Augusta Commission and the North Augusta City Council fully endorsed this new 2009 Master Plan for a sustainable future. The boundaries of this new Master Plan "The Westobou Vision" not only included the traditional downtowns of North Augusta and Augusta but were expanded to include the surrounding neighborhoods. This is the new Master Plan for both the City of Augusta and the City of North Augusta that will guide both citities as they embark on economic development initiatives with these boundaries.
Augusta Tomorrow will be working with the stake holders, champions and both city governments to help implement this new Master Plan.

Roads

Roads

This map is designed to give a general overview of the roads in our county. We have worked with the Georgia Department of Transportation to ensure the accuracy of these roads.

Currently roads inside some apartment complexes and mobile home parks are not reflected on the map. To capture these roads we have a project underway to GPS roads omitted from the map. Please contact the GIS Department at (706) 821-2864 should a road in the County not appear on this map, and we will add it to the list of roads to be gathered during GPS field work. We appreciate your feedback.
