Community Partnerships

The Community Partnership Program began in 1999 with the Sandridge CommunityAugusta Community Park Association at Jamestown Community Center. The City believes that community partnerships will both enhance and significantly improve the community's awareness and pride in parks throughout the City as well as save tax dollars.

Currently, our Department has four partnerships with community organizations that handle the day-to-day operation of parks and community centers throughout the City. For more information regarding community partnerships, please call (706) 796-5025.
