Lock and Dam Park Lock Operation - As of May 15, 2014, the Lock operation at the Lock and Dam Park will no longer be in operable. In addition, access to the Lock for fishing will no longer be allowed. This is a safety issue and in any inquiries should be directed to the US Army Corp of Engineers at (864) 333-2238.
New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam is located on the Savannah River adjacent to Bush Field Airport and operated by the Augusta Recreation and Parks Department. Lock and Dam is the perfect site for fishing and recreational boating. The park has north and south boat ramps, three picnic shelters, table groupings and grills, fish stations, and comfort stations.

- Opens Daily at 6:00 am (March - October) & 7:00 a.m. (November - February)
- Closes at 6:00 pm (November - February)
- Closes at 7:00 pm (March and October)
- Closes at 8:00 pm (April, May and September)
- Closes at 9:00 pm (June - August)
Diamond Lakes Regional Park

Located at the Diamond Lakes Regional Park, Diamond Lakes are four fully stocked fishing ponds for public use. GDNR Fishing License required for ages 16 and over.For more information, call (706) 771-2980 or visit Diamond Lakes.
