About the EMA


Mission Statement

To provide a comprehensive and aggressive emergency preparedness, response, and recovery program for the citizens of Augusta, Georgia in order to save lives, protect property, and reduce the effects of disasters.

The Augusta-Richmond County Emergency Management serves a population of 200,000 covering 324 square miles.
