5th Annual Mayor's Christmas Card Contest 


With the excitement of the holiday season upon us, Mayor Davis, Jr. is inviting Augusta Richmond County school students (grades 4-8) to participate in the fifth annual Mayor’s Christmas Card Contest. This is a unique opportunity for our children to display their creative ideas of the holiday season in Augusta. Submissions should reflect the theme “A Holly, Jolly Christmas in Augusta.”

The winner of the contest will be selected based on their creativity and representation of our city.  The winner also will have his or her artwork presented and featured on the Mayor’s 2018 Holiday Card; as well as presented at the Annual Lighting of the Christmas tree event on the Augusta Common. All aspects of each entry must be completely original and submitted to the student’s art teacher by November 16, 2018. Please inquire with your child’s school for receiving the parental release form indicating permission for your child’s artwork and their photograph that will be featured on the holiday card.
