Request an Appointment with Mayor Davis


Mayor Davis is available to meet with individual citizens, civic groups, community leaders, and businesses to build a better, stronger Augusta, Georgia. Please be advised that all meeting attendees must be listed on the request form and the Office of the Mayor reserves the right to decline admittance for any meeting to attendees not previously listed or approved.  Please note that all appointment request go through an internal review process to determine the Mayor's availability. For planning purposes please submit your request 45 days in advance of the appointment date.  Once your request is submitted you will receive a status of your request 10 business days prior to the appointment date.

Schedule an Event with Mayor Davis


If you would like to invite Mayor Davis to an event you are hosting complete the online invitation form.  For planning purposes submit your request 45 days in advance of the event date. Please be advised that all event request go through an internal review process to determine the Mayor's availability.  Once your requested is submitted you will receive a status of your request 10 business days prior to the event date.  

Please refrain from using Mayor Davis' name on any media or promotional materials until you receive conformation from the Office of the Mayor.

Request a Welcome, Recognition or Congratulatory Letter from Mayor Davis


 
If you would like to request a Welcome, Recognition or Congratulatory Letter from Mayor Davis, please read the information below and fill out the form (Request Letter Form).

Note:  All Request Letter Forms must be submitted at least 45 days prior to the date the document is needed.  Additionally, all Request Letter Forms go through an internal review process.  A person or organization may only receive one ceremonial document per year.  
  
Letters of Welcome will be issued for the following:
  • Conferences
  • Conventions
  • Seminars
  • Family Reunions held in the City of Augusta
  • Class Reunions for schools and institutions that are located and/or held in Augusta
  • Small Businesses

Information required:  A summary about the company, organization, or group hosting the event.  If this is an annual please include the number (ex: 12th annual ...).  Also include the date of the event, location, and theme if applicable.  Please note that letters will not be issued for events that are held outside the City of Augusta, GA.

Letters of Congratulations or Celebration will be issued for the following:
  • Professional Celebrations
  • Religious Anniversaries and Celebrations
  • Significant Birthdays -- 70 and higher
  • Significant Marriage Anniversaries -- 50 and higher

Information required:  Indicate the title or nature of the event, the date of the event, a brief history of the organization, a biographical sketch of the person, and any other pertinent information that would assist in creating the document. Please note that letters will not be issued for events that are held outside the City of Augusta, GA.

Request a Key to the City 


Persons and Organizations may request a Key to the City from the Mayor. Please note that all request go through an internal review.  The disposition of the request is at the discretion of the Office of the Mayor.
