Earth Day 2014 Celebration
Augusta's Earth Day Celebration was held on April 26, 2014 at the Phinizy Swamp Nature Park. This event marked the first time that Augusta's "Official" recognition of Earth Day was held at the Park, and it provide to be a successful event and partnership among several community partners: the City of Augusta, the Southeastern Natural Sciences Academy, the Augusta Utilities Department, Georgia Regents University, and the Metro Spirit.
The event featured many vendors, exhibits, and activities, set against the backdrop of the beautiful Phinizy Swamp Nature Park.
