The Code Enforcement Division is responsible for the investigation and resolution of environmental issues which include, but are not limited to:
- Illegal dumpsites
- Improper disposal of solid waste
- Tires
- Hazardous waste
- Oil
- Other environmental hazards
If you see someone who is improperly disposing of these items, please call our office at (706) 312-5049.

State of Georgia Environmental Protection Division has created a hotline for citizens in Georgia. Call (800) CLEAN-UP (25326-87) and enter the zip code located in Georgia that you are interested in and it will provide you with the contact person and other information needed for that area.
