The Augusta-Richmond County Emergency Management Agency is pleased to provide the citizens of Augusta, Richmond County, and our neighboring counties with an Emergency Notification Public Sign-up Page. In the event of an emergency that directly affects the safety and well-being of our citizens, the EMA can quickly communicate important information to everyone who is registered within this system. Once you have registered in the system, you will be able to receive messages in a number of ways, including email, phone calls, and text messages.
Even though EMA maintains a list of land-line phone numbers to communicate with citizens, this public sign-up page provides an important link to citizens who use cell phones as the primary means of satisfying their communications needs. Registration in this system ensures that you will receive notification of emergency situations affecting Augusta regardless of your location provided that you have cell phone service.
