The Augusta-Richmond County Cooperative Extension is the campus of the University of Georgia extended into Augusta-Richmond County. The Augusta-Richmond County Cooperative Extension is divided into four (4) program areas:
- Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR)
- Expanded Food and Nutrition (EFNEP)
- 4-H and Youth (4-H)
- Family and Consumer Science (FACS)
The Office focuses its educational efforts in these four (4) areas through direct contacts, group meetings, newsletters, newspapers, magazines, radio and television. Program goals and objectives are determined by trends, consultants, and a formal grass-roots advisory committee.
