Building Inspections
The following inspections must be requested according to the given instructions:
Grounding
When rebar is present in footings it shall be used as the grounding electrode. See NEC 250.52 (A)(3)
Footing
After excavation and reinforcing steel is in place
Before the pouring of concrete
When rebar is present in footings it shall be used as the grounding electrode. See NEC 250.52 (A)(3)
Setbacks
(stringline required on property line)
Foundation
After all walls and pier forms are in place
Before any framing placed on foundation (crawl space)
Building Slab
After all compaction of any fill, pre-treatment, grade beams, wire mesh, and installation of vapor barrier
Before the placement of concrete
Framing
After the roof, all framing, fire blocking, and bracing are in place and all concealed wiring, pipes, chimneys, ducts, and vents are complete
Final
After the building is complete and ready for occupancy
