Permit Board

Overview

All permits issued pertaining to residential construction will be required to be posted on a permit board. For the minimum requirements dimensions, please view the Permit Board Illustration. The permit board policy applies only to residential projects when more than two inspections are required.

Requirements

The permit board is to be placed in the front yard at the job site, no more than 20 feet from the back of the curb. The Contractor will be required to attach the permit card to the board. He will also be required to attach a plastic zip lock bag to the board which will be used for holding inspection sheets and other correspondence between the inspectors and the contractor or sub-contractors.

In order for required inspections to be conducted, the permit board must be in place and the issued permit must be attached to the board.
