Congratulations To Stanley Carter

The Employee Recognition Committee has selected Stanley Carter as the April Employee of the Month for the City of Augusta. Stanley is one of the Water Treatment Plant Operators for the 2nd shift at the N. Max Hicks Plant.

Mr. Carter was nominated by fellow employee Robert Mobley and the nomination was approved by Assistant Director Drew Goins.

Mr. Carter was recognized as a “Top Operator” for District 6 in 2008 by the Georgia Association of Water Professionals. He is quick to recognize problems and develop fast solutions. His leadership qualities have excelled him to his current operator’s position within a short period of time.

The Committee felt that based on this recommendation and Mr. Carter’s dedicated and loyal service to the City of Augusta, he should be awarded Employee of the Month for April 2008. He was recognized during the Commission Meeting on June 3, 2008.
