To provide a comprehensive and aggressive emergency preparedness, response, and recovery program for the citizens of Augusta-Richmond County in order to save lives, protect property, and reduce the effects of disasters.

Augusta-Richmond County Emergency Management serves a population of 200,000 covering 324 square miles.

  • Georgia SARA Title III (Chemical Company Reports)
  • Mitigation
  • Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) / Community Awareness Emergency Response Committee (CAER)
