AJC Drug Court
Mission
The mission of the Augusta Judicial Circuit Drug Court (AJCDC) is to reduce the impact of drug-related crime by providing comprehensive treatment to substance abusers with the goal of improving public safety and decreasing the financial burden of drug addiction to the entire community.

Primary Responsibilities
The AJCDC seeks to reduce:
  • Incidences of criminal activity, which creates safer communities
  • Substance abuse among offenders by providing strong accountability that increases treatment compliance and successful outcomes

The AJCDC also works to stabilize families by breaking the cycle of addiction through a highly-structured treatment process that includes monitored drug screening, mandatory employment / school attendance, and regular court appearances.
