May 12th National Trails Fest Ride

Want to discuss adventure? Join this annual Bicycling Event for a scenic route of Augusta. Beginning at the Lock and Dam Park (Behind Bush Field Airport) traveling path and road to the Savannah Rapids Pavilion and back, The National Trails Fest Ride is an opportunity to spend a Sunday morning with your family and friends as you discover the real Augusta! Pre-Registration is required at Andy Jordan’s Bicycle Shop located on 13th Street Downtown until Saturday, May 11th at 5:00 p.m. The Pre-Registration fee is $15.00 and onsite $25.00. Sept. 13th - Small Fry Fun Day
Bernie Ward Community Center - 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Fun day for Pre K & 1st Grade (Ages 4-7). Pre-Registration is required for groups, days cares, & schools. Games, rides, kids show, and lunch will be provided for all paid participants. ($2.50 per participant) Group registration deadline is September 6, 2013. Onsite registration will be available for registration of no more than three (3) children. October 24th - Time to Scare Halloween Carnival
Diamond Lakes Community Center - 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The Annual Time To Scare Halloween Carnival & Haunted House is sponsored in part by WRDW News12, Augusta Recreation Parks & Facilities Department, and Clear Channel Radio. Doors open at 5:00 PM. Children ages 12 & Under only please. After you brave through the haunted house, try the carnival game room and take a chance at winning some candy! A costume contest will be held at 7:00 p.m. for children in three different age categories - infant - 2 yrs.; 3 yrs. - 8 yrs. & 9-12 yrs. judged by local TV and Radio personalities.
