Extreme Sports

Augusta Recreation and Parks offers several venues for extreme sports. From the Augusta Skate park to the Augusta BMX Track all of your extreme sports needs can be met by our department. For a more detailed listing of extreme sporting events, please call, 796-5025.

Augusta BMX Track

Wood/Division Street

Located at Wood Street Park, the Augusta Bicycle Motor cross (BMX) Track is home to the BMX Club of Augusta. The track is open to the public for general use. Proper safety equipment should be used when using the and all posted rules must be followed. Ride at your own risk.

BMX events are held every other Saturday beginning at 6 pm. For more information, call 796-5025.

Augusta R/C Racer Remote Control Track

Enjoy the fun and excitement of remote controlled racing at the newest track in the CSRA. The park gates open daily for public use.

Track Rules

No vehicles other than remotely operated vehicles are allowed on the track. No Alcohol allowed on the premises. Always use safety guidelines when operating power tools or equipment. All animals must be kept on a leash.

Augusta Skate Park

3160 Damascus Road

Located on Damascus Road, across from the Augusta Aquatics Center, the Augusta Skate Park features an exciting variety of ramps including a half pipe, quarter pipe, kids ramp, vertical ramp, and fun box. The park also features concessions, picnic area, spectator viewing, and a portable restroom.

Hours of Operation

Thursday / Friday - 3:30 p.m. until dusk
Saturday / Sunday - 1:00 p.m. until dusk

Fees

$3.00 - Single Visit Pass
$20.00 - 10 Visit Pass
