Mission of Community Partnerships

The community partnership program began in 1999 with the Sandridge Community Association at Jamestown Community Center. The city believes that community partnerships will both enhance and significantly improve the community's awareness and pride in parks throughout the city as well as save tax dollars. Currently our department has four partnerships with community organizations that handle the day to day operation of parks and community centers throughout the city.
