Programs for Adults

USA Tennis 123 is an adult beginner program that includes two 1-1/2 hour classes per week for three weeks. Level 1 classes (first 6 lessons) covers strokes. Level 2 classes (second 6 lessons) covers how to play the game. Classes are held Thursdays from 6:30 to 8pm. This is an ongoing program and you may start at any time.

USA Team Tennis - provides an opportunity for players (NTRP 1.0 to 2.5) to make the transition from USA Tennis 123 to USA League Tennis as well as other beginners wishing to participate in team play. Teams playing out of NTC are actively coached by the staff to encourage continued interest and development of beginning players.

USA League Tennis - more teams designate NTC as their home facility than any other in the Augusta area. Men or women age 19 and older compete in flights of comparable skill levels (NTRP 2.5 to 5.0).

Tournaments - NTC hosts the Dasani Mayors Cup, Southern States Top 32 Junior Championships, Newman Tennis Center Junior Satellite, USTA Boys 16’s National Open, Southern Senior Hard Court, Raising Cane's Tennis Championships, Georgia State Junior Closed, Papa Johns GeorgiaLina Junior Championships, Chick-Fil-A Augusta Collegiate, Subway Tennis Classic Championships, and the USTA Boys and Girls 12’s National Open.
