SPLOST Update -
New Orthophotography!!!
Augusta Richmond County
Information Technology
Geographic Information Systems Division (ARC IT-GIS) is excited to announce we have a Request for Proposal to find a vendor to complete a regional color Orthophotography project. For this project, ARC has teamed with the following geographical locations to help reduce the cost of the overall project:
Aiken
,
SC
; and
Orangeburg
,
SC
Counties.
The project will include the following deliverables on DVD: Ground Control Survey Report, Camera Calibration Report, Planimetric Data, LIDAR Data, and Digital Orthophotography* in geo-referenced uncompressed TIFF with TIFF world files and MrSID and SDW formats with metadata (primarily for use with Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) software).
We would also like to announce that ARC was awarded a $20,000 grant which will be applied to the Orthophotography project. Applying for the grant took hard work, however; it paid off in the end.
