September 15, 2017 - September 17, 2017 @ Augusta Common
The Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival is a 2 1/2 day celebration of food, arts, diversity and culture. Each year since 1981, over 80,000 visitors come to the festival, frequently described as “Augusta’s finest moment.” The festival features a juried Fine Arts and Fine Crafts Market, a Global Village with food from more than 20 countries, five stages stacked with live entertainment and much more. This award winning festival is produced each year by the Greater Augusta Arts Council.
The festival takes place on Broad Street and the Augusta Common. Broad Street between 7th and 10th Streets will be closed off for the Fine Arts and Crafts Market, featuring over 120 fine artists and fine crafters who were selected by jury. There will be plenty of shade to make the festival an enjoyable experience for attendees, and there will be wide and varied handmade goods to suit every budget.
