1. When / How can I determine when my case is to be heard?

If it is a Felony case, please call the District Attorney’s Office at (706) 821-1135.

If it is a Misdemeanor / Traffic case, please call the Richmond County Solicitor’s Office at (706) 821-1220.

If it is a Civil / Domestic Case, please call your attorney or call the office of the judge assigned to your case.

2. My ex (husband or wife) is not following the final order the judge issued in my case. What can I do?

It is best to call your attorney to determine your next course of action.

3. Can I speak to a judge about my case?

No. It is inappropriate to speak with a judge about a specific case without both parties being present. Information and facts relating to a case are presented in a courthouse during scheduled events.
