Master Plan
In 2000, Augusta Tomorrow, Inc. commissioned a downtown master plan update that was adopted by the Augusta Commission as a guide for revitalization and economic development of the city center. Since then, Augusta Tomorrow has conscientiously worked with downtown stakeholders and the City to implement this master plan.

There is no other map like the one on the Augusta Tomorrow website. The website was developed as an interactive venue for developers and others to zoom-in on a block or a building on the master plan map, see current and proposed development and link that with the city center master plan.

To read about Augusta’s downtown master plan and view the master plan map, it is available on the Augusta Tomorrow website at www.augustatomorrow.org.

Roads
This map is designed to give a general overview of the roads in our county. We have worked with GDOT (Georgia Department of Transportation) to ensure the accuracy of these roads. Currently roads inside some apartment complexes and mobile home parks are not reflected on the map. To capture these roads we have a project underway to GPS roads omitted from the map. Please contact the GIS Division should a road in the County not appear on this map and we will add it to the list of roads to be gathered during GPS field work. We appreciate your feedback.
